Devastating bullets

I tested these bullets in my 7mm Rem magnum into clear ballistics gel at 100 and 300 yards. Muzzle velocity was 3250 fps and the bullet performed well at both ranges. In the gel the petals only penetrated about 4.5 inches so I was concerned about quartering shots on deer. Another concern was how large of an exit I would get from the base. Well last weekend I shot a whitetail doe at a 150 yards, she was quartering towards me so I put the bullet right on the point of her shoulder. She dropped DRT, the exit wound was very large from the base. The exit was through the ribs midway on the body, so nowhere near the other front shoulder. But to my surprise, I found a petal in the exit side front shoulder. So the petals traveled much further in the deer then in ballistics gel. The bullet was absolutely devastating, when field dressing the deer I didn't even have to cut the windpipe, a petal must have done it for me. I'm hoping to take some more game with these on my next hunt

Awesomeness

Easy to load, great BC, and repeatable accuracy. Starting to love these solids, definitely need to order more as soon as I can hide some money from my wife.
