This bullet is designed to function at subsonic speeds and put game on the ground quickly and quietly. This makes it an excellent choice for 8.6 Subsonic rifles.

A minimum impact velocity of 800fps is required for the hollow point to function as intended.

Instead of mushrooming, our subsonic Raptor bullet sheds 4 large blades after about 1-2" of penetration while the base continues.

It is manufactured out of solid copper bar stock on a CNC Swiss style lathe.

The minimum required twist rate for this bullet is 1:7" or faster.

As far as i know the 338 subsonic bullets produced by Cutting Edge Bullets are the only ones on the market that function at subsonic velocities, and thus can be used in subsonic cartridges for hunting and self defense. I am only just now able to build a 338 subsonic carbine because of this product release. A competitor was producing these for a short time (and they were brass, which i don't trust much, but then stopped. Thank you Cutting Edge!
