After 1-2" of penetration, 4 blades break off and radiate outward in a star pattern while the base continues through for even deeper penetration.
This bullet was designed to have the BC of our MTH/MTAC line with the terminal performance of our Raptor™ series.

Upon receipt of the bullets I was very impressed with the packaging and quality. I weighed and measured a batch of the bullets and they were incredibly consistent. I loaded these per spec for my 450 bushmaster. They shot 1" groups at 100 yards on paper without any fine tuning. They are absolutely devastating on deer, and superb overall. The only think I would like to see changed is to tip the bullet to help aid in feeding. I found that the hollow point can easily hang up on the mouth of the chamber. But 5 starts nonetheless for me!

I have found the projectile I was looking for,performance of the 45 cal,is everything that cutting edge descibed,described, will be ordering again.
just what i was looking for. grouping could be covered with a quarter at 100 yards.
With not a lot of load data present, they will provide near max load data you can tweak and tune. I opted out of the polymer tips and shot 450 bushmaster both 250&300 grain. First shoot only yielded 3” groups which sub par to me. I’ll adjust powder grains and type to hopefully get sub1/2” groups which I’m used to shooting at 100 yards. Have not hunted with these rounds yet but, if I can better group these, I will update my review to speak about the hopeful success they have due their higher cost.
