This Flat Base Raptor™ was designed specifically for the 450 Bushmaster. Instead of mushrooming, these hollow points are designed so that after 1-2" of penetration, 6 blades break off and radiate outward in a start pattern while the base continues on for even deeper penetration.

A minimum impact velocity of 1500fps is required for the hollow point to function as intended.

The minimum required twist rate for this bullet is 1:24". These bullets are not recommended for use in rifles with a twist faster than 1-6".

250 Raptor F-Base .452

So far they have a different group size from my Hornady 250FTX bullets. Same load for both 41 of Lil Gun.
Out of my CVA Scout 25" barrel. FTX is 2568fps and Raptor is 2534 both with different OAL. FTX size was .750 and Raptor was 1.625. Still load development, but don't want to waist a lot of money on this! If you have data on the Raptor let me have it Please! Right now will be shooting FTX as it stands.
