This is a SINGLE FEED bullet designed for magazine feeding in rifles chambered in .416 Barrett, .416 Rigby, 416 Rem. mag, 40 Hart and similiar cartridges. Our MTH line is machined out of lead free solid copper bar stock on a CNC lathe. These are a high BC, expanding bullet designed for hunting at all ranges. A unique feature of this bullet is our patented SealTite™ band which is a band slightly larger than caliber diameter around the bullet which was designed to eliminate fliers by preventing gas blow-by. The SealTite™ band also decreases copper fouling which is typically associated with mono metal bullets.

These bullets do not mushroom, but instead, fracture. After 1-2" of penetration, 3-4 petals will break off and radiate outward from the main wound channel about 2-3" creating massive trauma. They will expand down to 1600fps.
The required twist rate for this bullet is 1:14" or faster.

This was my first Elk hunt. I was using a 416 WBY Mag using Cutting Edge bullets and was able to achieve SUB-MOA groups with both the 350 and 375 gr bullets with no more than 1/4" separation between zeros at 100 yards allowing for easy field substitution. The .416 350gr MTH (Match/Tactical/Hunting), SKU#: MTH V11 cycled through the internal magazine flawlessly and is what I carried loaded in the field. I also had the .416 375gr SINGLE FEED MTH (Match/Tactical/Hunting) SKU#: MTH V13 for long range option should the situation present itself. Hunting at 8,000 ft elevation, the single feed option provided enough energy for >2,000 ft-lbs at 1,500 yards. This exceeded my Leupold VX-6HD 2-12x42mm internal adjustments of 40 MOA, so I was well pleased with that I had a 1,375 yard option should I find the need. We saw 10 bulls in the 5 days we hunted ranging from 75 yards to 1,200 yards, most “shooters” were 700-875 yards. This bull was taken at 125 yards with the V11s. Not sure how the bullets would have compared to others, as it was getting dark and we didn't have much time for on-site analysis. I shot the bull several times as it made its way about 50 yards from my first impact. After hunting dangerous game in Africa this summer, if it is standing - KEEP SHOOTING!
