These 165 grain .400 diameter bullets reach .308 Win bullet velocities of 2680 -2,780 Fps and hold a 3/4 inch group at 100yards

Is the CEB 165 Maximus accurate? Very much so, sub minute. Is it flat shooting? Absolutely. Three inches thigh at 100 yards,dead on at 200 yards. I’m sighted in 1 inch high at 100 yards , a mid broadside hold at 200 is spot on.The CEB 165 grain bullets are leaving the barrel at close to 3000 fps. Are the CEB bullets up to the job.You betcha. Very effective. No deer went farther than fifty yards.A couple of bang flops. A couple of chin hitting the ground before running a bit and piling up. I Plan on shooting some 300 yard targets to see what it does at that distance when I am getting around a bit better. Does the CEB bullet poke good size holes for blood trailing. See the pictures.(the high shot is on me) CEB claims the bullet tip breaks off into four pieces with the base remaining intact. I have no reason to doubt them. They work. On smaller deer a lower brisket heart shot impact is very destructive with not much identifiable in the jellied goo and skinning a bit dicey around the shoulders for fear of pulling the front half off from the back half.

Loaded using H110. Chronoed at 2661. 1 moa at 100 yards out of a Ruger American Gen 2 predator. Hope they perform on deer this season.

I used this bullet on a wild boar hunt. One shot the boar went down where he stood. 77grns by weight of blackthorn 209. Will use the same in Nov."24.
