The ER (Extended Range) Raptor is a tipped hollow point design and is intended for long-range hunting out to 600yds. Instead of mushrooming, our RAPTOR™ bullets are all designed to shed 6 blades after 1-2" of penetration while the base continues for even deeper penetration.
A minimum of 1500fps impact velocity is required for the hollow point to function as intended.
This bullet has a required twist rate of 1:12" or faster. These bullets are not recommended for use in rifles with a twist faster than 1-6".
These bullets come with Raptor™ tips installed.

I used the 235 Raptor ER in .375 H&H quite effectively on Plains Game in SA May, 2023. Knocked a Burchell’s Zebra stallion off his feet at about 70 yds after a right front shoulder shot. Blood streamed from the entry hole like from a small hose and his organs were liquified and devastated. Dropped a large Nyala at 30 yards to the same effect as well as an Impala at about 25 yds. These are not meat-saving bullets but none exited any of the animals I shot so the hides were in great shape with only caliber-size entry holes. Going into the hunt, on-game performance was personally unknown. Post-hunt I’d use them again if I didn’t care about saving meat. Will test on whitetail at longer distances to see how they do in the meat-saving department. Easy to load, highly accurate and puts ‘em down.

I loaded this bullet for my 375 ruger specifically for deer hunting in Missouri. It’s hard to find a 375 caliber bullet that is not a blunt nose and was trying to find a bullet that I could consistently get accuracy and good velocity at 300 to 400 yards if needed . This bullet design is the only one I found in this light weight that I believed would work for what I needed .My load using Varget gives me same hole accuracy at 100 yards. I shot a 240 pound buck and 180 pound doe with this and neither one took a step afterwards. The buck I Dissected because it was an angled shot I hate him just behind the ribs on his left side and it came out just in front of his shoulder on the right,The base of this bullet completely passed through the animal with no problem and the pedals separated as advertised and found three petals had gone through his lungs. This is definitely a bullet that is worth the money. I will be using these for as long as they are available in my 375 Rager
