A minimum of 1500fps impact velocity is required for the hollow point to function as intended.
This bullet has a required twist rate of 1:16" or faster.
ER Raptor bullets are sold with the Talon tips™ already installed.

Started a full grain below Hogdon's recommended minimum load for Lilgun and H110. These take up a lot of case space in a 350Legend.
Very good velocity out of Savage 18in barrels.
Groups Sub MOA at 100yds out of 2 rifles with the same load of Lilgun powder.
Daughter took a big doe for youth season through the ribs at 50yds. Deer went another 60yds.
Bullet did exactly as advertised. I picked up another 100 and will recommend them.
Lungs were heavily perforated. About a 3 inch exit wound.
Great bullet!
This bullet shoots great out of a Savage Axis. Pretty easy load development given the rifles short throat limiting COAL. With a terrible trigger in the Axis, this bullet easily groups under 3/4" center to center consistently. Can't wait for crop damage season to start and test it's terminal performance on game.
