This is a SINGLE FEED bullet. Our MTH line is machined out of lead free solid copper bar stock on a CNC lathe. These are a high BC, expanding bullet designed for hunting at all ranges. A unique feature of this bullet is our patented SealTite™ band which is a band slightly larger than caliber diameter around the bullet which was designed to eliminate fliers by preventing gas blow-by. The SealTite™ band also decreases copper fouling which is typically associated with mono metal bullets.

These bullets do not mushroom, but instead, fracture. After 1-2" of penetration, 3-4 petals will break off and radiate outward from the main wound channel about 2-3" creating massive trauma. They will expand down to 1600fps.

The required twist rate for this bullet is 1:10" or faster.

Bought through an Australian Distributor. Easily the highest quality 8mm bullet on the market. Very uniform. Higher B.C than both old WW2 s.S bullet and the Yugoslav M75 bullet (0.575). The extended COAL of 3.37 is a small price to pay for the performance both hunting and target. I bought two boxes for a safari rifle in 8x57is and loaded them over 51gr of RL-17. Got them going 2600fps and consistently tight grouping. Is it more accurate than my old PRS rifle? No, but it's now the best performing hunting rifle I own and it's built off an old FN98 action from the 1930's and 8x57is. I'm absolutely blown away with how great these are.

Unfortunately I haven't taken any deer with them yet, but the two goats I shot didn't express any concerns with the bullet's killing potential.

These are hands down the best long range 8mm projectiles made. They make the old classic 8x57 a true long range performer.
Seated at 3.37" over 49.5 gr ofN550, has them chugging along at about 2460 fps. That is a very stout load and probably not one I'd put through an old military warhorse but is perfectly suited for modern actions and will just barely mag feed from my tikka t3. What they lack in speed, they more than make up for in ballistic coefficient, and extreme accuracy. Several 5 shot groups at 600 yards came in well under 3 inches, with the best being under 2.5". Standard deviation is only 3 fps. Was easily able to connect with the 1000 yard gong repeatedly. This is remarkable accuracy for any rifle, let alone a factory hunting rifle with zero modifications and a sporter weight barrel. Although the tikka is known for being an accurate hunting rifle, I have to give credit to this excellent projectile. I also had the opportunity to harvest a couple of white tails this past season with them. 1 headshot was bang flop as expected and another cleanly harvested with almost negligible meat damage. CE has a winner hear for this often oddball caliber and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone with an 8mm to try.

I haven’t, as yet, loaded and shot these bullets. All I have done is inspect them. I gave a 5 star rating, because the bullets are vary precisely made and I feel I will have no problem with them. As soon as I get to actually loading and shooting them, I will try and remember to up date this review.
