A unique feature of this bullet is our patented SealTite™ band which is a band slightly larger than caliber diameter around the bullet which was designed to eliminate fliers by preventing gas blow-by. The SealTite™ band also decreases copper fouling which is typically associated with mono metal bullets.

Our MTH® line is machined out of lead free solid copper bar stock on a CNC lathe. These are a high BC, expanding bullet designed for hunting at all ranges. A unique feature of this bullet is our patented SealTite® band which is a band slightly larger than caliber diameter around the bullet which was designed to eliminate fliers by preventing gas blow-by. The SealTite® band also decreases copper fouling which is typically associated with mono metal bullets.

These bullets do not mushroom, but instead, fracture. After 1-2" of penetration, 3-4 petals will break off and radiate outward from the main wound channel about 2-3" creating massive trauma. They will expand down to 1600fps.

The required twist rate for this bullet is 1:11" or faster.

This bullet replaces old part numbers "MTH C23" and "MTH C39".

So I have been using Cutting Edge Bullets in 308win precision rifle and have had great performance 5 shot groups at .56moa @100yards. So I got a new 300WSM and I loaded some rnds at 98% powder capacity just for kicks and giggles. With no load development, I shot 3300fps and every shot went through ar500 steel plate cleanly. At 2950fps out of my 308WIN it doesn't even dent it, but increase it to magnum speeds and it doesn't even break a sweat through the steel. I need to develop the rnds to the new rifle, I don't doubt it's excellent shooting properties, but apparently I have AP rnds. Should be devasting on game. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Out of 100 hundred bullets that I ordered I got 51 bullets at 165.1, 40 at 165, and 9 at 165.2. Consistancy was great! Very accurate bullet.
