These come with Raptor Tips™ already installed. The Flat Base Raptors are manufactured out of solid brass bar stock on a CNC Swiss style lathe. Instead of mushrooming, these hollow points are designed so that after 1-2" of penetration, 6 blades break off and radiate outward in a start pattern while the base continues on for even deeper penetration.

The required twist rate for this bullet is 1:10" or faster.

A minimum impact velocity of 1500fps is required for the hollow point to function as intended.

The last 5 times I've fired my 300WSM, I haven't had to track a deer...5 for 5! I hunt 30-80 yards from a blind with the possibility of 500yds when I'm in clear cuts. This bullet works! I used to think that rounds capable at 500 yards would be effective at 40 yds. After losing an animal in 2017 and 2018 from a short range shot and the round shattering at entry, I found the 150 grain Raptor. I love this round!

Have bought 130 and 150 grain brass bullets and did my own testing for performance. The only bullet close is the federal premium.
