just received these bullets, I have been usi.ng other CEB bullets in my 9.3x62 and .488 win mag. first checked them for weight and length right on the money. then loaded up the same powder charge of IMR powder and 210 Fed match primers so I could compare them against the Powder Hammers, I have been using for 3 years and I am very happy the way these CEB ER Raptors worked. First I found I could load them a little longer than the Hammers so I will be able to increase the powder charge (safely) and the G1 BC on the Raptor is a little better than the Hammer. I loaded 49.2 gr IMR8208 BR in my Rem 721 with a 18 inch suppressed Benchmade barrel and got 2896fps an increase of 30fps over the Power Hammer bullet (don't know why) but happy. (this load is safe in my rifle maybe not yours) My first group was at 200 yards and measured .438 very happy. Then I lined up 4 water buckets and placed them at 250 yards to see how the would penetrate and how many buckets. Well the bullet went thru 3 buckets and entered the 4th bucket and found the bullet against the back of the 4th bucket, the pedals all broke off as they should. I am extremely happy with this bullet and it will be the bullet I take to Africa on my next trip.

I truly can’t say enough about these projectiles. I loaded some for my son, he uses a Remington 700 in 30-06. I wish I could upload a photo. He key holed 4 rounds and they were all touching each other. First 3 rounds were with one powder and the last 4 with a different load. These projectiles are awesome.

Very consistent, high quality bullets. Still working up the perfect load for my rifle - but so far, the largest group with a variety of powder charges and overall lengths is 1” at 100 yards. Very satisfied.
