These come with Raptor Tips™ already installed. The Flat Base RaptorS are manufactured out of solid brass bar stock on a CNC Swiss style lathe. A minimum impact velocity of 1500fps is required for the hollow point to function as intended.

I got these to work up a low recoil hunting load for my wife. It didn't take long to find a load that shot well, 1.5in groups at 200yrds. The only issues I had were when loading, the first couple bullets I seated the tips stuck in the seating stem and compressed loads would squish the tip a bit as well(308win RCBS dies) most likely fixable with a different seating stem. Terminal performance on deer was great. She made a slightly quartering toward us shot on a buck at 165yds. The shot was low, but broke the leg bone on its way in, after getting through the leg the petals radiated out inside the rib cage. One petal in particular went up into the heart. The base when along the bottom of the inside of the rib cage and exited. The buck went about 40yds before tipping over. The blood trail was easy to follow. These bullets are expensive but very consistent, I recommend them and will be buying more

Ive been shooting and reloading for a long time. These cutting edge bullets are by far the easiest bullets to develop load data for and are insanely accurate. Im getting 1/2 moa groups in my 18” x-caliber barreled remage R700 gun, with h335, 2850 fps, the bullet seating is so easy and load development was the easiest out of any other bullets ive tried and ive used them all! These will be my go to bullets in the future. Way better then the bullets that rhyme with “slammer”.

Ordered these (130 grain Raptor and shot in 7.62 x 51) in the fall to develop a line of hunting ammunition. These bullets group around the size of a dime for five shots at 100 yd. I killed two deer with these bullets. The first was shot, at 75 yards, through the shoulder with four exit wounds. The buck did not take a step and it took me about 90 seconds to walk to him. By the time I arrived, blood was pouring from the entry and exit wounds with approximately 1/2 inch pool of blood underneath the deer. The second was shot at a distance of 50 yards with one entry and a single exit. The trauma was severe and while the entry/exit wounds looked normal, the shoulders were, from lack of a better word, destroyed. I do not like tracking animals and prefer a quick, ethical kill and these bullets provide just that. In the future, I will shoot them in the neck.

Cutting Edge-I will send some photographs if you want them included.

My brother and I hunted elk last season in Idaho and after spending days walking miles in the snow and sleeping in a spike camp we found success. My brother shot this beautiful 6x6 with the CEB 130 grain Raptor. Despite the bull being over two hundred yards out the CEB Raptor dropped him dead in his tracks. The Raptor took care of business and prevented us from having to track this bull through the mountains and in the snow. Thank you CEB for producing such awesome bullets!

My son and I took our first elk hunt together and boy did the CEB Raptor deliver. We saw several elk and even a few small bulls before finally seeing this old bull. When we first saw the bull he was out of range and in and out of thick brush. Luckily for us this bull was working his way down to a water source we were set up near. After what seemed like forever, the bull stepped out into a clearing only 165 yards away. I fired one shot from my .300 WSM and the 130 grain CEB Raptor knocked the big bull off his feet. He stood back up and fell over again, but this time for good. The outfitter had his doubts about the 130 grain CEB bullets I was shooting, but after the shot he became a believer. The Raptor did exactly what you advertise it will do and it made for the swift and ethical harvest of a huge bull elk. Thank you CEB for making such high quality products!
