Good design just a snug fit in the muzzleloader won't work as a starter. I have purchased 4 in the past 2 years

I was excited to have a custom product that would be perfect for seating my Maximus bullets. Unfortunately, the tip broke off on the 3rd bullet. Cutting Edge gave me great customer service and sent another for free, and I bought an extra. Unfortunately, the second broke on the 4th bullet and the third is slightly bent. I have a CVA Optima V2, and the bullet/sabot are so tight that it takes a lot of pressure to get them started down the barrel. That means the jag wants to wiggle, which causes the tip to bend and then shear off. Not sure what I could do differently, but I'm a little frustrated. Have been using the other style jag for finishing and it does not seem to be damaging the bullets. May need to use that style jag for starting as well...

The jags are not designed to be used as a starter. They are designed to fit snug in the bore and seat the bullet. Using them as a starter can make the jag move back and forth and bend the stem.

When theses bullets arrived I immediately opened them to take a look. The precision machine work and feel is impressive. The loading tip fits inside the bullet nicely and seems like a good design to keep from damaging the bullet during loading. I have not been able to shoot these bullets yet due to a recent knee surgery but can’t wait to try them. Thanks for a high quality product at a fair price.
