This bullet was designed exclusively for .416 Barrett rifles. Our MTAC line is machined out of lead free solid copper bar stock on a CNC swiss lathe. These are a high BC, solid bullet designed exclusively for target use at all ranges. A unique feature of this bullet is our patented SealTite™ band which is a band slightly larger than caliber diameter around the bullet which was designed to eliminate fliers by preventing gas blow-by. The SealTite™ band also decreases copper fouling which is typically associated with mono metal bullets.

The required twist rate for this bullet is 1:13" or faster.

*If shooting through transonic, a twist rate increase of 1 inch is recommended (ex: 1:9" instead of 1:10")

Worlds Best Bullet Design

The bullets are perfection and shoot with even better perfection. They are easy to reload and perform at distances from 100 yards to 2 miles. I have been shooting ELR for many years and have tried every bullet manufacturer on the market. There are many good bullets out there, but none perform as well as the Cutting Edge Bullets. I have tested all 416 bullets with different powder configurations and shot out to various yardages. The 416 Cutting Edge bullets always perform the best which results in the best statistical numbers for ELR shooting. I have many large spreadsheets with reloading data from numerous bullet manufactures. I always get the BEST PERFORMANCE with Cutting Edge bullet reloads. No bullet performs with better consistency and accuracy than the Cutting Edge Bullets. My testing is still not done and I am always looking for a better bullet, but I do not think anyone comes close to the Cutting Edge Bullets. Good Work Guys and Gals.
