Our MTAC line is machined out of lead free solid copper bar stock on a CNC swiss lathe. These are a high BC, solid bullet designed exclusively for target use at all ranges. A unique feature of this bullet is our patented SealTite™ band which is a band slightly larger than caliber diameter around the bullet which was designed to eliminate fliers by preventing gas blow-by. The SealTite™ band also decreases copper fouling which is typically associated with mono metal bullets.

First Try with MTAC 155 in 308 Win

I hesitated to do a review. It is my first attempt with this bullet. Results are well below expectations. So much, I decided to go back to a standard high-quality match grade 168 gn bullet and try to fix things. I might have done so as my results with the 168 are showing consistent promise. I have found a full firm hold off usual bench rest bags, off the lands is working well. I hope to try this with the 155 soon. The "bad" bullet in the picture refers to any bullet falling outside 0.250", and the quotes suggest maybe it's the bullet, might well be something else. The 155 was shot with free recoil and into the lands and 6 different loads of IMR 3031.

Hi Ken! Im sorry for the late response, but i'd like to try and help get these 155gr shooting well for you. Our first suggestion would be to try a different powder. We have load data in house for this, can I email this over to you?
