Instead of mushrooming, our Raptor bullets are all designed to shed 6 blades after 1-2" of penetration while the base continues for even deeper penetration.
A minimum of 1500fps impact velocity is required for the hollow point to function as intended.
This bullet has a required twist rate of 1:11" or faster.
ER Raptor bullets are sold with the Talon tips™ already installed.

The picture shows a shot group at 250 yards from the formula we've been using in our 22-250 rifle. We took the original formula and only changed the bullet that we were shooting. That is the first 3 shots with no adjustment. We love the bullets so much that we are now working up a formula for the 300 RUM we just built. If we could get bullets for every rifle we own we would probably change them all. The seal tight band seems to do exactly what they say it will - maintain constant velocity to keep the issue of flyers down to a minimum. At this point I would highly recommend these bullets. The service was excellent and the packaging is top notch !!!
