I’m shooting the .500 cal 405 gr solid in my side lock .54 cal muzzleloader with 85 gr of 777. I’m preparing for a Cape buffalo hunt latter this season. I shot a wild bull on my neighbor ranch that was charging the cowboys. It was a angled shot going in the ribs on the left side and passing OUT the right shoulder on this 1400lb animal. When I get the Cape buffalo down I will send you pics with details.
